Notes, plans, attachments and their history belong to your on-device archive. You can read and edit records yourself without using Chat.
Cloud AI is a separate choice.
After you accept the cloud AI disclosure and use an AI feature, your message and the context needed for the task are sent for processing. The assistant does not run entirely on your phone. The first release keeps your archive on this iPhone, with backup and export. Archive synchronization is deferred.
You can inspect the work.
An answer can link to the records it uses. Prepared records and changes let you check the details before saving. AI can make mistakes; check the source when a detail matters.
You can keep a separate copy.
Save a copy of your notes and attachments for safekeeping or a move to another app. You can still read your notes without Plastelin.
